While I wish I'd had ANY education on gender and orientation diversity, overall my sex-ed was pretty good and I knew how to put on a condom and was encouraged to use the internet to research about relationships, which on reflection was ok. By the time I was 14 I at least knew where to get the morning after pill and how oral contraceptives worked. To be honest, I learned more about contraception, hormones and how my body actually worked in my biology lessons than in my sex-ed lessons. At least I learned it.
